About the Family Van:

The Family Van is a mobile health clinic founded in 1992 that works with low-income Boston communities to improve the health and well-being of residents and their families. By bringing preventive health care directly to medically underserved neighborhoods, The Family Van improves health outcomes among people whose needs are not met by the traditional health care system.

Mobile Health Map (MHM) is a national collaborative that helps mobile clinics measure, improve, and communicate their impact. Through innovative digital tools and resources, MHM supports an estimated 3,600+ mobile clinics across the country to model their cost-effectiveness and health impact, positioning mobile clinics as integral components of the U.S. health care system. The Family Van/Mobile Health Map (MHM) Program of Harvard Medical School is the only national repository of mobile clinic data and a leading resource for research on mobile health care delivery. We are seeking a mission driven public health professional to help strengthen and expand our national research collaborative by engaging mobile clinic leaders and researchers, supporting them to use MHM’s analytic tools, and improving the quality and completeness of data contributed to our national registry.
